Employee Spotlight
Why is giving back to the community important to you?
Giving back to the community is important to me because I think we are put on Earth to help one another. It brings me joy that I can make a difference in someone’s life!
What’s something about you that not many people know?
Something not many people know about me is that I lived in Worcester, England for four months during college! My favorite place I visited while I was there was Edinburgh, Scotland at Christmastime.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to enter the public accounting industry?
I have two pieces of advice:
- Choose the firm you want to work at carefully! Make sure you align on your ideas of work-life balance and what you want out of your public accounting experience.
- Don’t be afraid to try new things and keep an open mind. You’ll be surprised at what you might like versus what you thought you would like.
What is your favorite Boyer & Ritter perk?
My favorite Boyer & Ritter perk is the work-life balance. They acknowledge and appreciate the hard work everyone puts in during tax season and they stress the importance of having a balance between working and your personal life. I also love the flexibility of being able to work from home or in the office!
