Boyer & Ritter announces 12 promotions

CAMP HILL, PA – Boyer & Ritter CPAs and Consultants is proud to celebrate 12 promotions, including two new Directors and four new Managers.

Promoted to Director:

John Allen

John Allen is a CPA who provides audit, accounting, and advisory services to clients in the Manufacturing industry. He earned a BS in Accounting from Shippensburg University. Allen’s previous experience working for a privately-owned manufacturer affords clients valuable perspective and expertise. He rejoined Boyer & Ritter in 2020.

Kyle R. Evans

Kyle Evans is a CPA and a key member of the firm’s Nonprofit Practice Group. He also has experience overseeing audits of pension and profit-sharing plans, 401(k) and 403(b) plans, defined benefit plans, and ERISA compliance reviews. He earned a BS in Accounting from East Stroudsburg University and a Master of Accountancy from Bloomsburg University. Evans joined Boyer & Ritter in 2014.

Promoted to Manager:

Patrick T.R. Charvat

Patrick Charvat is a CPA and provides tax and accounting services for businesses and individuals. He has worked with clients in multiple industries and has prepared and reviewed income tax returns in over forty states. He earned a BS in Accounting from Susquehanna University. Charvat joined Boyer & Ritter in 2019.

Emily Roman

Emily Roman is a CPA and performs audits and reviews for clients in various industries, including Construction/Engineering, Transportation, and Leasing with a focus on leading Employee Benefit Plan audits. She earned a BS in Accounting from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Roman joined Boyer & Ritter in 2016.

Daniel J. Ryan

Daniel Ryan is a member of the firm's Construction and Real Estate practice group, as well as Employee Benefit Plan practice group. He has experience working with a variety of closely held businesses. He earned a BS in Accounting from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Ryan joined Boyer & Ritter in 2016.

Promoted to Supervisor:

Stephen F. Baier

Stephen Baier has experience working with closely-held businesses, nonprofit organizations, and individuals. He earned dual BS degrees in Accounting and Economics from Susquehanna University. He joined Boyer & Ritter in 2018 and works in the firm’s State College office.

Kelly O’Leary

Kelly O’Leary has experience working with governmental entities, businesses, and nonprofit organizations. She earned a BS in Business Administration and an MBA from Shippensburg University’s John L. Grove College of Business. O’Leary joined Boyer & Ritter in 2018 and works in the firm's Chambersburg office.

Charles Sabol

Chuck Sabol is a CPA and a member of the firm’s Tax and Accounting Practice Group. He earned an MBA and BSBA in Accounting from Shippensburg University. He has several years of public and private accounting experience, specializing in tax, and has worked with various sizes. Sabol joined Boyer & Ritter in 2020.

JohnCarlos R. Tavares

JohnCarlos R. Tavares is a CPA and a member of the firm’s Nonprofit Practice Group. He also has experience working with privately held businesses. He earned a BS in Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy from Bloomsburg University. Tavares joined Boyer & Ritter in 2018.

Jacqueline G. Yoder

Jacqueline Yoder provides audit, accounting, and tax services for a variety of clients and industry groups. She earned a BS in Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy from Bloomsburg University. Yoder joined Boyer & Ritter in 2018.

Promoted to Senior Associate:

Christine Lingle

Christine Lingle earned a BS in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy and Forensic Accounting from The American Women’s College at Bay Path University. She previously worked as an in-house bookkeeper for a large family-owned grocery chain. Lingle, who joined Boyer & Ritter in 2021, works in the firm’s State College office.
