PA Department of Revenue myPATH Account Setup Guide
For Pennsylvania taxpayers, use this guide to help you create your PA myPATH account online so you can view balances, set up payments, view return history, and manage notices.
What you’ll need
- Valid ID number (SSN, EIN, Revenue ID)
- A copy of your last filed PA tax return or your last known payment amount
- Email address and a phone for text/voice codes
How to Create Your PA myPath Online Account
- Visit mypath.pa.gov and click “Sign Up".
- Click “Next” and acknowledge the electronic correspondence agreement on the following page.
- Enter your email, create a username and password.
- When asked if you are a third-party tax professional, click “No”.
- Select the account type by choosing "Personal Income Tax Account" or “Business Tax Account” as appropriate.
- Verify your account.
- You will be asked to provide the amount of the last payment made to PA or one piece of information from your last filed PA tax return.
- You may be asked to set up two-step verification.
