Boyer & Ritter CPAs and Consultants welcomes four new associates

CAMP HILL, PA – Four new associates joined Boyer & Ritter, one of Central Pennsylvania’s largest accounting firms.

Joining Boyer & Ritter as accounting associates:

  • Zachary Foust earned an MBA in 2019 and a BS in Accounting in 2018 from Juniata College. He has internship experience in assisting with capitalization projects, processing inventory and developing develop accounts payable receipts. Foust won the Charles M. Rice Accounting Prize in 2018, awarded to seniors who are outstanding in accounting.
  • James Farano earned an Associates in Business Administration-Accounting from Lehigh Carbon Community College in 2016 and a Master of Accountancy in 2019 and a BS in Accounting in 2018 from Bloomsburg University. He has internship experience with cash control and bookkeeping at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom and is a top 10 percent member of Beta Gamma Sigma.
  • Mark Robert Phillippy earned a BS in Accounting with a minor in Criminal Justice from Messiah College in May 2019. He has intern experience assisting with internal controls at a restaurant and as a tax intern. Phillippy also has gone on mission trips to Belize and supervised a youth program for Grace House Ministries.
  • Bethany Spencer earned a BS in Accounting with a minor in Mathematics in 2018 and a Master of Accountancy in 2019 from Juniata College. She has internship experience processing accounts payable invoices and compiling financial statements, as well as conducting market research for the PA Liquor Control Board. Spencer was a member of Juniata’s women’s basketball team and also served as a graduate assistant coach.
