Boyer & Ritter’s Fina Salvo among nominees for 31st Annual Tribute to Women of Excellence

Firm honored to have again hosted a pre-award reception celebrating all 30 nominees

Boyer & Ritter is pleased to announce Fina Salvo, the firm’s director of marketing, is among the 30 women nominated for the YWCA of Greater Harrisburg’s 31st Annual Tribute to Women of Excellence awards.

Earlier this year, Boyer & Ritter once again hosted and sponsored a private reception at the YWCA to honor this year’s outstanding class of women who have contributed so much to their community. “What an honor it is to meet each one of you, and what an exercise in humility to hear your success stories,’’ firm Principal Lisa A. Myers told the nominees during the reception. “You have become a “who’s who” in central Pennsylvania because you did what you could, whenever you could, with what you had.’’

Her community service includes her ongoing role as President of the Board of Trustees for CASA (Capital Area School for the Arts). She has served as a trustee since 2017, and as a member of the Communications Committee.

Salvo also serves on the United Way Women’s Leadership Network Advisory Council and is a member of United Way Women’s Leadership Network and Bridges Society. She works on the Membership and Engagement Committee for Cumberland Area Economic Development Corporation, and she served on the event planning committees for The Joshua Group – “Dancing with the Cars” 2018 and 2019, and the 2019 YWCA 125th anniversary celebration.

“I feel privileged to stand in the company of such a group of accomplished women who have and continue to make a difference,’’ Fina said. “As the mother of twin daughters, I believe it is important for woman to support each other and be good role models to show what we can accomplish in the workplace and for our community.’’

Over the last 30 years, the Tribute to Women of Excellence awards ceremony has honored more than 700 women for their contributions to the workplace and community. The annual event has also raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in support of YWCA programs for women, children, and men.
