CAMP HILL, PA – For the 14th year in a row, Boyer & Ritter was named among the Best Places to Work in PA for 2022, following an evaluation that considers both company policies and employee feedback.  In 2022, Boyer & Ritter was ranked #3 in the category of mid-sized employers.

“It is an honor to again be named as one of the best workplaces in Pennsylvania, which underscores our commitment to not only our clients but also to our employees,’’ said Boyer & Ritter CEO Robert J. Murphy, CPA, CVA/ABV. “We continue to attract the best in the field because we support our employees and provide a balanced work environment and career growth opportunities.’’

Earlier this year, Boyer & Ritter was recognized as one of Mid-Atlantic’s top accounting firms for the sixth straight year by Accounting Today Magazine. Pennsylvania Business Central also named Boyer & Ritter among the “Top 100 Organizations” in the state, a distinction the firm has received nearly every year since 2016.

The Best Places to Work in PA awards program is a public/private partnership between Team Pennsylvania Foundation, the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, the Pennsylvania State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management, and the Central Penn Business Journal.

“This year’s Best Places to Work in PA is a collection of 100 winners that demonstrate that a positive environment for staff creates a place where people are proud to work and produces a culture that is contagious. These companies are making a positive impact on the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by attracting talent and creating successful organizations,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, senior group publisher of Central Penn Business Journal. “We are pleased to join with the Best Companies Group to recognize these businesses.”

The selection process breaks companies into three categories according to the number of employees; Boyer & Ritter was one of 25 medium-size employers with between 100 and 249 employees. Eligible companies had to be a for-profit or non-profit business, be publicly or privately held, employ at least 15 people working in Pennsylvania, and be in business for at least one year.

Employees' answers on a specially designed survey are heavily weighted, counting for 75 percent of the evaluation process. Workplace policies, practices, philosophies, systems, and demographics are worth approximately 25 percent of the total evaluation. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process.

Boyer & Ritter will be recognized during an awards ceremony on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2022. Rankings are revealed at the ceremony. For more information or to purchase tickets online, visit https://www.cpbj.com/event/best-places-work-pa/
