“I am honored to make the list of one of central Pennsylvania’s leaders,’’ said Murphy, who has been with the firm for more than 30 years. “Successful leaders need a good team, and the professionals and staff at Boyer & Ritter are the best anyone could want in their corner.’’

CPBJ Managing Editor Gary Lenton said they made the magazine’s first-ever list of this kind to introduce the people that help shape the community.

“This is not a ranking. There is no score,’’ Lenton said. “Our intent is to introduce our readers to the people who make the decisions.”

CPBJ highlighted part of Murphy’s year-end message, which talked about his pride in the firm’s ability to stay on top of the ever-changing federal and state coronavirus-related economic assistance programs for their clients. Just as significant, he said Boyer & Ritter kept its commitment not to have layoffs, pay cuts, or furloughs.
