Boyer & Ritter celebrates the retirement of Brian D. Straub

After more than 45 years of serving the needs of clients, Brian Straub has retired from his career in public accounting.

Straub joined Boyer & Ritter in January 2017 through a merger with Waggoner, Frutiger & Daub.  Well known for his technical expertise, he worked with numerous closely-held companies, small businesses, governmental entities, not-for-profit organizations, and individuals. 

“We wish Brian all the best in his well-earned retirement,’’ said Boyer & Ritter CEO Robert Murphy. “Since joining the firm, Brian has consistently been a great asset to our professionals and our clients.’’

Straub, a CPA, was a graduate of Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania in 1979 with a BS in Accounting. An active member of the community, he was involved with several organizations, including the Central Pennsylvania Conservancy and Brownstone Lodge No. 666 F. & A.M.

“We are incredibly grateful for Brian’s many years of dedication and service to Boyer & Ritter and our clients,” said Murphy. “Although he will be missed, we wish Brian the very best in his retirement and the well-deserved opportunity to spend more time with his family.”
