Boyer & Ritter Managing Partner Lisa Myers and Principal Thomas J. Taricani named on Forbes “Best-in-State CPAs” list

CAMP HILL, PA – Forbes named Boyer & Ritter Managing Partner Lisa Myers and Principal Thomas J. Taricani to its first-ever “Best-in-State CPAs” list for Pennsylvania.

Forbes said it judged the CPAs on their expertise, innovation, thought leadership, and service to the community and their profession.

“I’m incredibly honored to be named among Forbes’ top CPAs in Pennsylvania,’’ said Myers, who was named on Forbes’ list of “America’s Top 200 CPAs” last year. “This recognition is deeply meaningful — not just for me, but as a reflection of the values and client-first approach that have guided my career.”

Myers became the firm’s Managing Partner last year and was named Boyer & Ritter’s COO in 2022. She also chairs the firm’s Advisory Services Group, was elected the firm’s first female partner in 1999, and in 2016 served as the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ fourth woman president in its more than 100-year history.

“Being named among Forbes’ top Pennsylvania CPAs is truly humbling,” said Taricani, also named in January among “Pennsylvania Business Central’s Top 100 People” for the second consecutive year. “Throughout my career, I’ve focused on building lasting relationships, solving complex challenges, and helping clients thrive.”

Taricani, CPA/ABV, CVA, CEPA, is the Principal in Charge of the firm’s State College office. He is Chair of the firm’s Executive Committee and also chairs the firm’s Valuation Advisory Services practice group. Civically, Taricani serves as President of the Louis E. Silvi Foundation and is a member of the Board of Directors of Mount Nittany Health and its related Mount Nittany Health Foundation.

Forbes stressed the importance of finding the right CPA, which they said is why they created the list.
