Boyer & Ritter ranked 7th in Accounting Today’s top 10 “Best Firms for Young Accountants” for 2023, following a national selection process that included feedback from employees under 30.

To qualify for the competition, all firms initially were named among Accounting Today’s “2023 Best Firms to Work For.” Additionally, qualifying firms had to have at least 15 employees under 30, with firms of 150 or more having 10 percent of employees under 30.

The “Best Firms for Young Accountants” honor comes on the heels of Boyer & Ritter’s recognition as ninth out of the 25 top programs in the accounting industry nationwide by career research website company Vault-Firsthand.

Earlier this year, the firm was also included on the list of Best Places to Work in PA for the 15th consecutive year; as one of the “Top 100 Organizations” by Pennsylvania Business Central; named among Inside Public Accounting's top 300 firms nationally by revenue; and listed among Accounting Today’s Top Mid-Atlantic Accounting Firms for a seventh straight year. Additionally this year, Boyer & Ritter was listed among the 49 “2023 Best HR Teams in America” by the Best Companies Group.

"We are tremendously proud to be recognized as one of Accounting Today’s top 'Best Firms for Young Accountants,’” said Boyer & Ritter CEO Robert J. Murphy, CPA, CVA/ABV. “This honor is a testament to our commitment to nurturing young talent and fostering an environment where they can thrive.”

Murphy added that the honors underscore the dedication of everyone at Boyer & Ritter.

“We consider these awards as milestones, not just for our firm, but for our clients as well, who are the ultimate beneficiaries,” Murphy said. “We are excited to continue building on this foundation of nurturing talent and enhancing client service, ensuring that Boyer & Ritter remains synonymous with professional development and client satisfaction."
