CAMP HILL, PA – For a second time, Boyer & Ritter’s internship program was ranked in the top 150 nationwide for the accounting industry, highlighting its standing among the largest and most competitive programs, based on a survey of over 17,000 current and former interns by career research website Vault-Firsthand.

According to the Vault survey, Boyer & Ritter’s internships achieved high ranks in specific categories: #46 out of the 150 top programs for compensation and benefits, and #26 for “culture of acceptance.”

Earlier this year, Boyer & Ritter received a 2025 PA Chamber’s Greatest Places to Intern in PA award and was named among the “2025 Best Places to Work for Women” by the Best Companies Group.

The Vault findings supported the feedback the firm received from many of its interns in a summer survey. Among the responses, Boyer & Ritter interns said:

  • “Everybody here is really flexible and understanding, especially to a new intern. They have families and lives outside of work as well, so they know how life goes sometimes.”
  • “The best aspects of this internship were the community that the firm fosters, the in- depth experience working alongside members of the firm, and the freedom and inclusivity to propose my own thoughts and to discuss alongside peers.”
  • “Everyone at [Boyer & Ritter] is very accepting of interns, and they do not expect you to know anything to start. They just ask that you show up and try to learn about what the company does.”
  • “The best aspects of the internship were the fact that the work I completed actually mattered. It wasn't just busy work. I also really enjoyed my mentors.”

“The overall scores are based on the following weighted formula: 30 percent career development, 20 percent employment prospects, 20 percent quality of life, 20 percent compensation, 5 percent diversity, and 5 percent interview process,’’ according to the company. “Vault compiled rankings of the top internship programs in more than 30 different areas. The 150 Best Internships reflect the internship programs with the highest overall scores across the survey pool.”

Lisa Myers, Boyer & Ritter’s Managing Partner, said the Vault ranking underscores the firm’s commitment to developing the next generation of accounting leaders.

“We’re incredibly proud to be recognized among the nation’s top 150 internship programs,” Myers said. “Investing in our interns is investing in the future of our firm — and of the profession as a whole.”

In addition, Boyer & Ritter received the ClearlyRated 2025 Best Of Accounting Diamond Award for five consecutive years in the client survey awards, was named among Inside Public Accounting's top 300 firms by revenue for eight years, and was recognized by Accounting Today as a top Mid-Atlantic accounting firm for the 10th year, one of only 10 in Pennsylvania.
