Boyer & Ritter Manager JohnCarlos Tavares among PA Institute of CPAs “2025 Young Leader” award recipients
CAMP HILL, PA – The Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs (PICPA) named Boyer & Ritter Manager JohnCarlos Tavares among its “2025 Young Leader” award recipients.
“The PICPA annually recognizes its members under the age of 40 who demonstrate an extraordinary commitment to the accounting profession through the PICPA or community service,” the organization said of the recognition. “In addition to climbing the ranks quickly at their organizations, past winners have gone on to serve as PICPA leadership, committee chairs, and conference speakers.”
Tavares, who joined Boyer & Ritter in 2018, is a CPA and a member of the firm’s Nonprofit Practice Group. He earned a BS in Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy from Bloomsburg University.
His dedication to mentoring and training other professionals within Boyer & Ritter has significantly contributed to the professional growth of many of his colleagues. Outside of work, Tavares is a committee member of the United Way of the Capital Region on the Basic Needs Grant Panel and recently joined the board and Finance Committee of Latino Connection, an organization dedicated to educating, empowering, and uplifting the Latino community.
