Peer Review

Overview

Boyer & Ritter's quality control procedures are subject to internal inspection each year and to peer review by an independent public accounting firm every third year.  The Peer Review Program is intended to enhance the quality of a firm's accounting, audit and attestation services.

Boyer & Ritter has consistently passed our peer reviews and frequently provide peer review services for other CPA firms.

Key components of our quality commitment include active membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ Governmental Audit Quality Center and Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center.  Membership in these organizations requires firms to maintain a system of quality control, designate a firm practice leader for those engagements, and provide a minimum level of industry-specific training annually.

In addition to meeting your peer review requirements, you will benefit from the practical advice concerning your operations, staffing, administrative processes and current profitability.

Our involvement with various professional associations including, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), keeps us up-to-date on current and emerging trends associated with peer reviews.
