Overview

Emily provides audit, accounting, and tax services for a variety of clients and industry groups.  She has experience working with a range of clients, including nonprofit entities, businesses, and individual tax returns.

She has served as the in-charge on multiple engagements and, as such, is responsible for the daily operations of the engagement, as well as implementing effective work plans to accomplish stated objectives.

External Audit

  • Develop and implement engagement work plans to successfully complete audits
  • Perform audit procedures to gain sufficient knowledge to support the audit opinion issued
  • Prepare clients’ financial statements
  • Provide advice, information, and research to clients to assist in their management responsibilities

Tax

  • Prepare & review federal, state, and local returns for individuals, businesses, and non-profits
  • Review tax notices & prepare responses to the appropriate taxing authorities
  • Perform tax research to ensure compliance with the law
  • Prepare calculations & projections to help with tax planning
