Overview
Emily provides audit, accounting, and tax services for a variety of clients and industry groups. She has experience working with a range of clients, including nonprofit entities, businesses, and individual tax returns.
She has served as the in-charge on multiple engagements and, as such, is responsible for the daily operations of the engagement, as well as implementing effective work plans to accomplish stated objectives.
External Audit
- Develop and implement engagement work plans to successfully complete audits
- Perform audit procedures to gain sufficient knowledge to support the audit opinion issued
- Prepare clients’ financial statements
- Provide advice, information, and research to clients to assist in their management responsibilities
Tax
- Prepare & review federal, state, and local returns for individuals, businesses, and non-profits
- Review tax notices & prepare responses to the appropriate taxing authorities
- Perform tax research to ensure compliance with the law
- Prepare calculations & projections to help with tax planning
