For second straight year Boyer & Ritter LLC listed among “Top 100’’ Pennsylvania companies
Magazine also names B&R Principal Lisa Myers among “Top 100 People”
CAMP HILL, PA – Boyer & Ritter CPAs and Consultants has been recognized as one of the “Top 100 Organizations” in the state for the second year in a row by Pennsylvania Business Central magazine.
In the magazine’s January issue, Boyer & Ritter Principal Lisa A. Myers was honored among the Top 100 People in business and economic development. Myers heads the firm’s Forensic, Litigation Support and Consulting Group and is the current president of the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs (PICPA).
For the business list, the magazine accepts nominations from throughout Pennsylvania and final honorees, “were businesses that achieved a level of excellence, and had a positive impact on our region in 2016.’’ The Top 100 People were first nominated by someone within the region and then selected for inclusion by the publication’s editorial team.
“It is an honor to be again recognized in the Top 100 list and underscores our dedication to providing the best financial services to our clients,’’ said Boyer & Ritter principal and CEO Robert J. Murphy, CPA, CVA/ABV. “Our recent merger with an established Mechanicsburg accounting firm further solidifies our position among Pennsylvania’s leading companies.’’
Last year, Boyer & Ritter was also recognized as one of the top 27 companies in the Mid-Atlantic by Accounting Today Magazine list of regional leaders — one of only four Pennsylvania firms to make the cut. The list looks at top firms in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Murphy congratulated Lisa Myers on her inclusion in the Top 100 People list, saying she is, “an example of the top-notch professionals who allow Boyer & Ritter to deliver on its promise of unmatched client service.’’
Boyer & Ritter in January welcomed Waggoner, Frutiger & Daub to its team, adding 14 accounting professionals and expanding the firm’s services to small businesses, nonprofits, governments and in the area of employee benefit plan audits.
In separate moves, Boyer & Ritter expanded its Business Valuation and Forensic, Litigation Support and Consulting groups. The Business Valuation team specializes in helping companies develop long-term growth strategies, while Fraud/Forensic Group focuses on identifying problems and risk management. They also assist in business litigation and white collar crime and fraud prevention and investigation.
“Boyer & Ritter is off to a strong start in 2017,’’ Murphy said. “With our experience and client-first culture, we are well-positioned to be Central Pennsylvania’s premier independent accounting and consulting firm.’’
