Boyer & Ritter named among 100 Best Places to Work in PA for 10 years straight
CAMP HILL, PA – For the 10th year in a row, Boyer & Ritter CPAs and Consultants was named among the 100 Best Places to Work in PA for 2018 following an evaluation that considers both company policies and employee feedback.
“The reason clients know they can count on us for unsurpassed service and insightful advice comes down to two words: our employees,’’ said Boyer & Ritter principal and CEO Robert J. Murphy, CPA, CVA/ABV. “We are committed to attracting and retaining the best in our field.’’
Earlier this year, Boyer & Ritter was one of only five Pennsylvania firms recognized by Inside Public Accounting as among the top 300 Mid-Atlantic firms based on revenue and as one of the “Top 100 Organizations’’ in the state by Pennsylvania Business Central. It is the third straight year the firm received both honors.
The 100 Best Places to Work awards program is a public/private partnership between Team Pennsylvania Foundation, the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, the Pennsylvania State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management, and the Central Penn Business Journal.
The Best Places to Work in PA breaks companies into three categories according to number of employees; Boyer & Ritter was one of 27 midsize companies. The full list represents 25,000 employees and includes 44 small and 29 large firms. Eligible companies had to be a for-profit or non-profit business, be publicly or privately held, employ at least 15 people working in Pennsylvania and be in business for at least one year.
Answers employees give on a specially designed survey are heavily weighted, counting for 75 percent of the evaluation process. Workplace policies, practices, philosophies, systems and demographics are worth approximately 25 percent of the total evaluation. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process.
Boyer & Ritter will be recognized at the Best Places to Work in PA awards banquet on Thursday, November 29, 2018, at the Lancaster County Convention Center. Rankings will be revealed at the ceremony. Tickets may be purchased online atwww.CPBJ.com/events
