Boyer & Ritter manager Senahid Zahirovic joins Dauphin County Crime Stoppers’ board
Saying he looks forward to helping make the community safer, Boyer & Ritter CPAs and Consultants manager Senahid Zahirovic recently joined the Crime Stoppers of Dauphin County’s board, where he will serve as treasurer.
“I’m honored to be part of an organization that plays such a crucial role in helping law enforcement solve cases and provide justice for victims,’’ Zahirovic said. “Crime Stoppers makes our neighborhoods safer.’’
Zahirovic, a CPA, graduated from Bloomsburg University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Accounting and works out of the firm’s Camp Hill office.
Crime Stoppers of Dauphin County is a nonprofit organization that rewards tipsters, who remain anonymous, for information leading to the arrest of suspects wanted by police. Many times, the information provided by tipsters is critical in locating a suspect or solving a crime. All money used for rewards comes from tax-deductible donations and fundraising events.
Since 1986, Crime Stoppers of Dauphin County is directly responsible for: 1,452 arrests, $758,455.00 in recovered property and 2,464 cases cleared.
