Boyer & Ritter, LLC Principal Lisa Myers named to United Way of the Capital Region Board of Directors and honored by American Lung Association
Myers also helps found local Women Presidents’ Organization chapter
CAMP HILL, PA (April 12, 2016) — Lisa Myers, a principal with Boyer & Ritter, LLC, one of the region’s largest accounting firms, has been named to the United Way of the Capital Region’s Board of Directors and has received the American Lung Association of the Mid-Atlantic’s Champion of Change award for 2016.
Myers also became a founding member of the Harrisburg chapter of the Women Presidents’ Organization that was created earlier this year. WPO is a national organization made up of more than 1,800 women who have an ownership interest in either a product-based business with at least $2 million in revenues or $1 million for a service-based firm.
Deborah Brown, CEO of the American Lung Association of the Mid-Atlantic, thanked Myers for her support and work on behalf of the organization during the association’s gala in March.
“Lisa has been a supporter of the American Lung Association for many years, both on a corporate level through Boyer & Ritter and additionally on a personal level,’’ Brown said. “We recognize Lisa as our Champion of Change for her dedication to fighting lung disease, her contagious enthusiasm for our mission and her ability to foster support throughout our community.”
Myers has nearly 30 years of experience providing auditing, accounting and consulting services to associations, civic and community societies, charitable organizations, educational institutions, community foundations, social clubs and governmental entities.
