Professional History
Ed is a partner in the Chambersburg office of Boyer & Ritter. He has over 30 years experience in accounting, auditing, tax and management consulting services to a variety of clients and industry groups.
He is a key member of the firm’s Not-for-Profit Services Group and the Manufacturing and Distribution Group. He also serves on the firm’s Accounting and Auditing and Marketing Committees.
Ed earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Shippensburg University in 1978. Prior to joining B&R, he was a senior manager for two international accounting firms and has significant expertise in the not-for-profit, healthcare, and manufacturing industries.
Professional Activities
Ed is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA). He serves on PICPA’s statewide committees for accounting and auditing procedures and not-for-profit organizations. He supplements his education with various continuing education courses offered by these organizations.
Ed has served as the Treasurer of Carlisle Area Health and Wellness Foundation, President of Shippensburg Lions Club and Trustee of Memorial Lutheran Church. He is currently a member of the Chambersburg Rotary Club.
