B&R Ranks in Top 5 on Best Companies to Work For in PA List

December 2011 —The results are in and B&R ranked #5 in the entire state of Pennsylvania among small/medium sized companies AND is the top accounting firm on the list! B&R moved up eight spots from #13 in 2010. The rankings were announced December 1st at an awards dinner at Lancaster County Convention Center.

"We have a great team, and it is because of their dedication and commitment to making B&R a great place to work that we are on this list year after year," says B&R's Managing Partner Bob Murphy.

The Best Places to Work in PA list includes two groups, 65 small/medium-sized firms with 25-250 employees and 35 large-sized companies with 251 employees or more. The rankings are compiled through research via a survey sent to employers and employees from hundreds of companies in the commonwealth. Using a formula similar to Fortune's "100 Best Companies to Work for in America," the Best Companies Group scores the workplace practices survey along with the employee survey and each Best Places to Work candidate is given an overall score.

"A good place to work isn't simply a place to show up for eight hours and draw a pay check. A good place to work means a place to grow, to build a future, to build a family and to sustain a community," said Governor Corbett who spoke during the program.
