Managing Partner

Professional History

Bob is the managing partner and chairman of the Executive Committee of Boyer & Ritter. He has over 30 years of experience with the firm providing audit, accounting, tax and consulting services to clients in a variety of industries including automobile dealerships, land development and other for profit, closely held commercial enterprises.

Bob is a key member of the firm's Dealership Services Group which serves over 160 automobile dealerships throughout Pennsylvania and surrounding states. He is actively involved in B&R’s Marketing Committee and the Recruitment and Retention Committee, which is devoted to hiring, training and developing superior professionals. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1980.

Professional Activities

Bob is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and has served on various committees. He is a member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA) and earned the designation of Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) in 1997. Bob has also been awarded the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) credential by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In addition, he has been recognized as an expert witness in accounting and business valuations in United States Federal Court and various county courts.

Bob serves on the board, and is Past Chairman, of the United Methodist Home for Children Residential Care, Inc., a not-for-profit residential facility providing care for children in need. He also serves on the board of LeTort Management and Trust Company and volunteers as an assistant track coach at Mechanicsburg Area Senior High School.

He has lectured at numerous seminars for in-house professionals, clients and business organizations regarding business valuations and accounting related issues. Bob also speaks at seminars for the Pennsylvania Automotive Association on various topics related to valuations for dealerships, federal and state tax issues related to dealerships and internal control and fraud prevention issues.
