However, at Boyer & Ritter we hold ourselves to a higher standard and commitment to serving our clients. We are constantly searching for improved methods of providing traditional and innovative new services to enhance the value of our clients' relationship with our firm.

The following is a chronology of significant events over the last seventy-five years:  

Wilson R. Ritter, practicing as a sole proprietor, opened his office as a certified public accountant.  The practice continued to operate as a sole proprietorship until July 1, 1952, when the partnership of Ritter, Todd and Haayen was formed.   The firm name was changed to Ritter, Haayen and Keller on July 1, 1971.

Lee E. Boyer purchased a private accounting practice and practiced as a public   accountant until 1939 when he received his certification.  Mr. Boyer continued to practice as a sole proprietor until 1948 when the partnership of Lee E. Boyer & Company was formed.

Ritter, Haayen & Keller and Boyer & Company merged their practices into the firm known as Boyer & Ritter with three Pennsylvania locations, Camp Hill,  Carlisle, and Lewistown.
