Boyer & Ritter rated among top companies to work for in Pennsylvania and nationally in 2016
December 1, 2016 (Camp Hill, Pa.) – For the 9th consecutive year, accounting firm Boyer & Ritter LLC is named among the best places to work in Pennsylvania and nationally, according to an independent evaluation looking at employee satisfaction and workplace practices.
“Our employees are our most important asset. We believe in a culture of inclusion and each individual contributes to our collective success,’’ said Boyer & Ritter principal and CEO Robert J. Murphy, CPA, CVA/ABV.
Nationally, Boyer & Ritter was ranked 54 out of 100 mid-sized companies with between 50 to 249 employees, according to the annual contest sponsored by Accounting Today.
Among Pennsylvania firms, Boyer & Ritter placed 56 out of 74 companies with between 25 to 250 employees, according to Best Places to Work in PA 2015. This marked the eighth year in a row Boyer & Ritter has ranked in the top 50. The contest is sponsored by Team Pennsylvania, the state Department of Community and Economic Development and the Central Penn Business Journal.
Assessing the companies in both the national and local rankings was independent researcher Best Companies Group. Significantly, 75 percent of the evaluation is based on employee responses to a confidential survey measuring various areas including pay and benefits, work environment and corporate culture.
Pennsylvania Business Central names B&R among “Top 100 Organizations in PA” and also names Lisa A. Myers among “Top 100 People”
Boyer & Ritter CPAs and Consultants has been recognized as one of the “Top 100 Organizations” in the state for the second year in a row by Pennsylvania Business Central magazine.
In the magazine’s January issue, Boyer & Ritter Principal Lisa A. Myers was honored among the Top 100 People in business and economic development. Myers heads the firm’s Forensic, Litigation Support and Consulting Group and is the current president of the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs (PICPA).
Jeremy Scheibelhut Named 2016 Recipient Of PICPA Young Leaders Award
Jeremy Scheibelhut was honored among an elite group of Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountant (PICPA) members who have been selected to receive the 2016 PICPA Young Leaders Award. Award recipients have demonstrated a commitment to the accounting profession through active participation in the PICPA and their communities.
Jennifer Switzler Recognized Among 2017 Women Of Influence
Jennifer Switzler was selected as one of the top nominees to receive the 2017 Women of Influence awards for her leadership and achievements within Boyer & Ritter, as well as her contributions to the community.
